Our local pub recently added a house-made hummus to their menu and we’re pretty happy about that — (a girl needs to balance out her pub night fries after all)….

Over the past couple of summers I’ve been splurging on basil oil (I can’t get enough of the stuff) — a simple blend of olives & basil made locally that we drizzle over sliced summer tomatoes (maybe with some plump burrata or creamy hummus, avocado wedges and garlicky queen olives in the mix – never enough olives) – your basic mediterranean dream….

I used to think the best part of the egg roll was the crispy, crunchy exterior — you know with those warm bubbly pockets? (salivary glands on fya) — not sure I ever gave as much thought to the interior until I discovered these bowls and let me tell you straight up, the sauce is magic.…

These warm chickpeas served up in a Greek style marinade with melty feta are the perfect spring transition dish – enjoy them on their own or wrapped up in a pita, gyro/souvlaki style, with tzatziki. D’lish….
And the strangest part?
I thought I didn’t like pineapple (talk about not knowing yourself)….
